Sinful Party at the iGaming Super Show 2011

April 21st, 2011  |  Published in Casino News will be celebrating its first birthday since the beginning of the release of the portal. Simultaneously Calvin Ayre will be celebrating his 50th birthday. Ayre has made a name for himself in the online gaming industry through the Bodog brand name. Therefore, this will be one party not to be missed. With no guest lists and no tickets, the only way to attend the party is by attending the iGaming Super Show 2011 in Dublin, Ireland.

The launch party of the portal was described by Playboy Magazine as a “surreal party with a bizarre mix of post-apocalyptic characters, statuesque European models, midgets and live pigs.” has already promised that this year’s party will make last year look like a tea gathering at your grandmother’s house. Once again, this is an event that cannot be missed.

Last year’s party theme was, “gamblin’, drinkin’ and carryin’ on.” Since Calvin is now a year older, the May 25th, 2011 party theme is the seven deadly sins that make us all human:

  • Pride
  • Greed
  • Gluttony
  • Sloth
  • Lust
  • Wrath
  • Envy

Party organizers encourage attendees to commit all seven sins in this single night of partying. If the party-goes advance through all sins, they are expected to create and commit their own. Since there will be plenty of creative minds in attendance, there are sure to be new sins developing throughout the evening.

The second annual iGaming Super Show began on March 24th and ended March 26th. The primary goal of expo is to provide a central networking event for those in the online gaming industry. Therefore, media, affiliates, payment solution providers, online gambling operators, regulators and software providers were all in attendance. For members of the online gambling industry, registration was free.

Last year’s event boasted 2,000 attendees with the crowds significantly increase this year. The topics of the expo ranged from advanced online marketing to business strategies. The largest brands at the show featured over 100 stands. Additionally, the iGaming Super Show 2011 showcased innovative services like speed networking and an informational session for VIP’s only.

This is an excellent venue to online gaming industry professionals to meet and mingle in a relaxed setting while learning about new trends in the marketplace. This event could significantly help many online gaming-related businesses improve their strategies and thus the number of customers interested in their product.
